Pop Art Color Scheme

The main tool in this project was the paintbrush.  As time went on, I became more comfortable with the brush and experimented more with the paint application.  Instead of just brushing in one direction, I started to dab the brush with different sized paint brushes as well as I worked on making sure some of the sides looked lighter than others based on the density of the paint application.

This project also taught me  how colors can interact with one another and how a blue may seem lighter or darker depending on its surrounding colors.  I also learned about the colors on the color wheel and how they can be grouped into analogous, monochromatic, complementary, split complementary, and triad color groups.
