Texture Unit Reflection

  1. The most interesting part of my final rubbing was how the different textures border each other.  There is very little white space between the textures which made the rubbing successful.
  2. The inside of the jacket was the most successful because of the difference between it and the other photos.  The fuzziness of the jacket made the photograph tangible and believable.
  3. The most successful collage is the photoshop one.  The best part is the way the tire welds the opposite light and dark sides together without being too bold.
  4. The photoshop one is also my favorite because of how the colors changed from their original pictures into photoshop.  I like how the fuzz on the top right hand side of the screen has the blue highlight surrounding it.
  5. The plaster system that Mr. O used was cool.  The rocks at the end looked real.  I think that if I used a tire, I could make a very successful collage with plaster.
